Week 2 - 5 News

Happy new year!

Let’s start this first newsletter of the year with a look back at the holidays. With everyone’s great effort during the holiday season, we managed to get through this busy period successfully once again. Compliments to everyone, and an extra pat on the back for the stars who came in to work extra shifts!

In addition to extra runs, we also had some fun at the HUB. Santa paid us a visit, and there was something tasty every day. Which dish did you enjoy the most?

Staff referral

ID Check

Here are few things to pay attention to;

  • Always check the actual date of the ID and not just the year.  

  • The earliest date with which you can buy alchohol is indicated at top when the device asks for an ID check. All the birthday-dates after the indicated date in the Delivery App are not allowed to buy alcohol.

  • If you are in doubt whether you should ask for ID or not, ALWAYS ask!!!!

Wishing tree

First of all, a big thank you for submitting your wonderful wishes. Santa has informed us which wish he will be granting this year. We are having a nice day out with the whole team! The kind colleague who submitted this wish is known to us as MR. Yess.

The outing will take place around the end of February or beginning of March. More details will follow later!

Emplyee satisfaction survey (MTO)

We value your feedback and want to ensure we continue to improve your work experience. To help us achieve this, we’re conducting an employee satisfaction survey (MTO). This survey is quick and easy to complete and will be sent directly to your personal email. We kindly ask everyone to fill it out either before or after your shift at a time that’s most convenient for you. Your input is incredibly important and will help us identify what’s working well and where we can do better. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Objective: Eliminate the early time block

Our shared objective for the coming weeks is to eliminate early deliveries between 7 AM and 8 AM. To achieve this, we need to expand our team by hiring more people. Your help can make a big difference! If you refer a new employee, you’ll receive a €250 bonus as a thank-you. For all the details, check out the staff referral section in this newsletter. Let’s work together to reach this goal and make our operations even smoother!

Get ready for some fun and revealing moments because from now on, every edition of the newsletter will feature an exclusive interview! Our very own Leila will step into the spotlight as the official interviewer. Armed with her charm, wit, and maybe a cup of coffee, she’ll be asking the burning questions you didn’t even know you wanted answers to. Who will be the first to spill their secrets or share their funniest work mishap? Stay tuned—you won’t want to miss Leila’s lively chats in the upcoming issues!

Stand-up

Work is already underway on a new stand-up because the next one is scheduled for week 4. This week, everyone will be scheduled for a brief meeting before their shift to discuss the following topics:

  • Fleet App

  • Damages

  • MyHR

Extra tasks

Would you like to do some extra tasks on the hub and work more hours (=more money)? Then weŕe looking for you! Think of tasks like:

  • Training new people (JBT Trainer)

  • Quality / damage control
